— Product Development
As a materials engineer at Essentium, Bryan helps develop and optimize new material formulations across Essentium’s different research platforms including: thermoplastic composites, additive manufacturing, nanomaterials, and materials for energy applications. Bryan’s primarily roles are in product development and advanced R&D projects. His background in organic chemistry and gas and petroleum processing makes him particularly well-suited to innovate at a fundamental R&D level as well as in technical scale-up process development.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Bryan joined the Essentium team earlier in 2015, and in his short tenure has already co-authored two technical papers pending publication later this fall. Bryan enjoys an active lifestyle including soccer, strength and conditioning fitness, and golf. Furthermore, Bryan loves to read and learn, particularly in the genres of philosophy, fantasy, and theoretical physics.
